Dijana Vukomanović is Vice-president of the Socialist Party of Serbia and MP in the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.
She is a member of two parliamentary committees: the European Integration Committee and the Committee on the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region.
Ms. Vukomanovic is Head of the Serbian Delegation in the Parliamentary Assembly of OSCE and President of the Parliamentary Group of Friendship with United Kingdom. From 1992 to 2000 she worked as a researcher at the Institute of Social Sciences. During this period she published approximately 30 articles and studies on political parties, nationalism, ethnic relations and post-communist transition in Serbia and Montenegro. She is the author of two books, Restoration of Party Pluralism in Serbia at the end of the XX Century and Ideology of Political Parties in Serbia and Montenegro at the end of the XX Century. Ms. Vukomanovic holds a PhD from the Faculty of Political Science, University of Belgrade.
