Member of the Serbian Parliament


Ms. Annamaria Vicsek is a Member of the Serbian Parliament.

She currently sits on the Committee for Education, Science, Technology and IT and the Committee for Labor, Social Affairs, Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction. After having worked for 12 years as a speech therapist in Budapest, Hungary, she moved back to Novi Sad and started working as the Head of the Development Department of the Pedagogical Institute of Vojvodina. She has been a member of the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians since 2008 and she actively partakes in strengthening the Hungarian community, one of the largest minority groups in Serbia, by organizing lectures, workshops and forums. She is a member of the Women's Forum in the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians. In 1995 she graduated in Speech Therapy at Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest, Hungary, where she also gained her Masters' degree in Special Education in 2003.
