Ms. Maja Lazareska works as an official at Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy of the Republic of Macedonia as a Head of Department for European Union. She is a Senior Programme Officer responsible for programming, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the Pre-Accession Assistance of the EU (IPA Component 1) in the Ministry. Her previous work experience includes Rural Development and EU Instrument for Pre Accession Assistance for Rural Development (IPARD).
From 2005 to 2009 she was Member of the Council in the Municipality of Kicevo as a representative of the Political Party VMRO DPMNE. During her professional career Ms Lazareska participated in many educational seminars and programs and she has completed the Council of Europe’s School of Political Studies. She has published several scientific articles.
Ms. Lazareska holds a Master’s degree in Environmental management from the South East European University in the Republic of Macedonia. She graduated from the Faculty of Natural Science, Department for Biology, University St. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje.
She speaks English and Albanian language.
